My niece. Some of my colleagues. My BFF from school. Our babysitter. The people who welcomed me into open source. The hardware I run my business on, and the first PCs I used, designed by a trans person. My flatmate from Uni now has a trans kid. My friend from France, ditto. These are people!! They matter to me and you are supporting people who want to *erase* them.
I got where I am today because many many people helped me without caring about my gender choices and my background, and this is such a low bar to exceed, I am profoundly disappointed that you have chosen to crawl underneath it.
This is Personal. The politics of oppression and hate are always Personal.
