Interesting #Nethack situation. Flanked by floating eyes, protected by my dog (who finally woke up lol). We'll see how it goes...

Gru (dog) bites the jackal. The jackal is killed! Gru bites the homunculus. The homunculus bites Gru. Gru is put to sleep by the homunculus.

Another pause in the action...

Gru again wakes up and play resumes.

Gru drops a scroll labeled ZLORFIK. Gru bites the homunculus. The homunculus is killed! Gru eats a jackal corpse.
