Just FYI, 404 doesn't paywall as far as I know. They email you a magic link so you can get in without making an account. Then they cookie you so you don't have to do it again until you dump cookies.

@frog_reborn I'll have to agree. I hadn't seen that before, but I'm cookied, so I wouldn't. I though all their exclusive content was in their podcast for subscribers, so that's apparently changed.

Thanks for mentioning it so I can be careful which links of theirs I share.

Oh no, my bad, seems like this post specifically actually is paywalled. Most of their articles just require a free email subscription, but they have exclusive content for paid subscribers too. Should have checked the link beforehand, sorry.
