Have you also considered that we may all be wrong about the consequences of the tariffs? Economic theory and capitalists conclude that this will be very bad for everyone, but what if it's not. What if all of that is propaganda. I think this is the most worrying aspect, because he would single-handedly discredit the entire global overclass without any alternative prepared. We would suddenly be living in a very different, much more dangerous world.

Apparently, Seagate changed their terms of service sometime in the last 6 months to say that their backup drives only work for one computer now. Prior to that I was backing up my 3 systems on it with plenty of room to spare. I didn't realize it wasn't backing up this one until today, when I was weeding out dropbox junk and noticed that Seagate hadn't backed up this computer since last June, even though it was the primary computer I bought it for. And I never got a notice of any kind - it just quit working. The laptop it apparently DOES work with now has almost nothing on it, since all my client files are shared with them in Dropbox.
This kind of greed is ridiculous. I ordered a different brand of backup for my graphics & arts computer (which does have a ton of affinity and music files on it) just for spite.

He can deny payments to political dissenters, slow or refuse to process payments for non-profits he doesn't care for, withhold tax returns from anybody he thinks is insufficiently loyal.

2/3 I'm hungarian. When I was a child, back in "communism", we were trained on arms from 10 years on, at least once a year on a military base. We liked it, because we had no school on these days.
No, I don't like weapons, but I don't sh**t my pants seeing one, know how to handle them in an emergency and can hit a target. And that, I think, should be mandatory knowledge for everyone.
Other than that, we should stick to 1/3 front part of the sentence.

3/3 To prevent using arms, the best solution would be (true) anarchism, building small self sufficient communities based on mutual help. In such an environment without hierarchy, power to gain, money to grab, no one to exploit, psychopaths can't get what they want and disappear. We don't even need to bother to expel them.

When unions are outlawed, only outlaws will have unions. Unions don't owe their existence to labor laws that protect organizing activities. Rather, labor laws exist because once-illegal unions were formed in the teeth of violent suppression, and those unions demanded - and got - labor law.

They work for insurrectionisty goals but that can cut many ways.
Also, since 1999 there have been military thinktanks writing on networked forms of organising. The brief headstart anarchists had there was lost years ago and the belief that networked forms would necessarily lead to anarchist outcomes, that hasn't been tenable for years either.

Dear USA - Don't get in a tizz over Trump's changing names on maps, the majority will ignore that and still use the current names. Do focus on resistance to the dangerous stuff, the illegal, (yes a lot is illegal unless he gets it changed in actual Law and fight it with every atom of your being.
